Prasannakumar, a visionary entrepreneur from Trivandrum, Kerala, recognized the urgent need for better, more consumer-friendly mosquito repellent solutions. Determined to address this issue, Prasannakumar founded Quitt Mozz under Southern Laboratories, with the goal of developing innovative products that combined effectiveness with user comfort.

Establishing Quitt Mozz

Establishing Quitt Mozz was a challenging endeavor, especially given the stringent regulatory environment surrounding mosquito repellent manufacturing. However, Prasannakumar's dedication and strategic vision led to the establishment of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Trivandrum. He meticulously navigated the complex regulatory landscape, successfully securing the necessary licenses from the central government—a significant achievement that only a few brands in India had managed at the time. Launch In South India

By 2006, Quitt Mozz officially launched its operations in Kerala, introducing its flagship products to the market. These included liquid vaporisers specifically designed for urban consumers, offering a more pleasant alternative to the harsh products previously available, and coils tailored to the needs of rural areas. The brand's products quickly gained traction, thanks to their effectiveness and consumer-friendly design. Over the next few years, Quitt Mozz pursued a focused and strategic expansion plan. By 2009, the brand had built a robust distribution network, with over 100 distributors ensuring its products reached more than 10,000 outlets across South India. This rapid and widespread expansion underscored Quitt Mozz’s commitment to innovation and its ability to meet the diverse needs of consumers, solidifying its position as a key player in the mosquito repellent industry.
